Physical Therapist Job in Lamesa, TX

Lamesa Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab is hiring for a physical therapist job in Lamesa, TX, and we would love to hear from you if you want to put your clinical skills to work in a sports therapy setting and build lifelong relationships with your patients. We are a rapidly expanding outpatient orthopedic clinic with a simple goal: to provide unexpected, high-quality care to the rural West Texas area. Our physical therapists work 36 hours per week, on a four-day work week, so the schedule supports the care you want to give.

A Clinic That Serves Rural West Texas

Our clinic is a hub for the rural communities of Dawson, Martin, Gaines, Borden, Howard, Terry, and Lynn counties. The patients who walk through our doors range from people recovering from total knee replacements and rotator cuff repairs to people living with chronic back pain, recreational fitness enthusiasts, and high school athletes. That variety keeps the work interesting, and it lets you follow a patient from the first evaluation all the way back to the activities they care about most.

Care here is individualized. There is no cookie-cutter approach to health at our clinic, and every recovery plan starts with a patient’s symptoms, medical history, and health constraints. Our core values of Compassion, Excellence, Teamwork, Ownership, and Encouragement shape how we treat patients and how we work with one another each day.

Treatment Tools and Mentorship You Can Count On

You will have a full toolbox to work with. We use aquatic therapy, sports therapy, virtual visits, and cutting-edge modalities, and we place a heavy emphasis on manual therapy. Depending on the patient, your treatment options can also include dry needling, Graston Technique, Kinesio taping, and therapeutic exercise, along with functional fitness programs that reach CrossFit athletes and golfers. Because you will be developing care plans with a variety of treatment techniques, you will have room to use your clinical judgment and sharpen it over time.

We also love working with students and early-career clinicians who are welcoming the next generation into healthcare. Our current physical therapists are happy to mentor new PTs as needed, helping you grow and refine the skills you learned in school. You will also consult and practice alongside other health professionals as you evaluate each patient’s progress and communicate it clearly.

Whether you are an experienced therapist or earlier in your career, the role is built around the same things: listening to patients, meeting their goals, reducing the need for medications, and offering alternatives to surgery when care allows. You will document patient care services and monitor progress, so the people you treat can see how far they have come.

Compensation:

  • $80,000 to $90,000 per year

Benefits:

  • 401(k) matching
  • Continuing education credits
  • 4 day work week
  • License reimbursement
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • Paid time off
  • Concierge physician coverage
